I started doing the family tree of the Barrons in Nov of 2011. I started out with a couple group sheets that I got from Garmon Estes ( my mother sister Wanda husband) Wanda and Garmon worked very hard on the family tree for many years. I am continuing with their research and seeing if I can go back further and updating it. I am hoping that this blog will help future generations with their family tree research.
I just started doing research on the Veteto branch. Margaret Jane Veteto was my great grandmother ( my mothers father mother) she was born 28 Sept 1888 in Geneva Allen Co. Kansas. She married Lafayette Taylor Barron 04 Mar 1905 They had 6 children Burton, Leroy, Leslie, Lois, Wanda, Althea. Margaret died 26 Jul 1956 Colony Kansas.
She was a member of the "Order of the Eastern Star" in the state of Kansas she was a district aide. I am not sure when she became a member. Here is a meeting record dated 24 Jan 1951, that was held in Garnett Kansas.
